Training for a Tri

Swimming, biking and running. Having fun training for our first triathlon, and maybe our last! But before we give up we're hitting the pool while kids are in school or while dad's are getting the kids to bed.

It's not all training. DJ hosted a girls night out! We wore our PJ's, watched High School Musical and ate lots of popcorn then topped it off with root beer floats.

The girls had fun leaving their brothers behind and giggled and screamed all night long.

Readathon

Carson and good friends earned a gold medal for logging hundreds of hours of being read to. Hmmm. Maybe the parents should be wearing the gold?

My sister, Shawna, was blessed with this little champ three months ago. It's great to see how much he has already changed. He looks great! Dana, myself and family can't wait to meet the latest addition to the clan. Good work you guys!! See ya soon Ryder.

Carson was recently on the front page of the Valley View. The Valley View is a community paper serving Duvall and the surrounding towns. The cover photo was shot to support an article written about Carson's school. He was quite proud to have been chosen by his teacher to grace the cover photo. Good work Carssy!

Tooth fairy

Looks like were calling the tooth fairy tonight. Cassidy pulled her tooth out this morning just before leaving to school. It was hanging on by only a thread for three days. She was very excited....

KK stopped by for a day on her way to Maui. She gave the kids these funny little chickens that poop bubble gum eggs. Of course they were a hit. cluck cluck.

Hoedown at Stillwater

I guess it was a week or so ago, Cassidy's school sponsored a "true" western hoedown. With pizza and licorice for all. Cassidy got all dolled up in her best western duds. And Carson cowboyed up in his roach kickers and hat. Good times were had by all. Giddy up!!!
