Sun Lake, WA

We packed our bags and headed to Sun Lakes. We met Grandpa Bill, KK, Great Grandpa Bill, G.G. Helen and G.Uncle Brian for some camping. We however stayed in a cabin in case the wind was blowing. It's a good thing we did. When we arrived we were almost blown back home and the rain came and went all evening. We awoke to beautiful skies and were ready to hit the lake and the pool. Both were a bit cold for the grown ups but the kids loved being in the water and most of all having an audience to cheer them on. They scootered and biked most everywhere and played hard all day. They both fell asleep quicker than ever!

Golf at Sun Lakes

Mini golf was more fun than the real golf course for the kids. They got to pick their own ball and club color plus hang out with Grandpa and KK. After adding up our scores KK treated us to ice cream before we sat around the camp fire.

The kids were worn out. They slept most of the way home then listened to books on tape. The stories were so fun they stayed in the truck to listen when we got home. You would think that 4 hours or sitting is enough.

Last Day O' School for Cassi

Cassidy is excited for the last day of school. It's field day. Carson and I are going to suprise her and join the fun.

One last smile before she gets on the bus

Cass was very happy to see mom and little brother at school. Friend Kelsey and Cassidy hide in the parachute. One of many games they played.

Cass was so nervous to stand up to the tee in front of all the kids in line. Her little face was so red. She swung and missed the first ball. Then she relaxed and hit 2 humdingers. Carson even gave it a shot. He connected on the first swing and hit the ball as far as the 5th graders. He's a natural athlete just like his daddy.

Ryder

My Sis, Shawna, sent over a great little photo of her boy Ryder. Looks like one happy camper. Ryder is growing up so quick. can't wait to meet him....

Polar Bear

Dad got the best present ever from Cassi...a clay polar bear she sculpted in art class. It proudly sits on my desk and gazes at me everyday.

Dana's B. Day

What a great lazy morning. It was so beautiful out, Greg and I dropped the kids off at the Garrat's house and went shopping. We even had some time to walk at the lake. When we got home I joined some friends to bike ride and swim in the lake. We only have 6 weeks to train for our triathlon. When I returned home, Cassidy was decked out in a black dress and the kids decorated the gazebo. Greg prepared a fabulous meal with candles and music. Cassidy entertained us with dancing. What a great 39th birthday!

parade day

Greg ran a 10k race of hills placing 12th overall and improving his time from last year. I ran a 5k which about killed me. I was proud that I finished with a much quicker time then I expected. We then waited to see the kids march by in the parade. They did such a great job holding the banner for the Redwolf Cheerleaders. Marcus, Carson, Dylan, Cassidy
Cassidy and Olivia having another serious moment. Cowboy Carson with his chaps on. Partner in crime Dylan is right on Carson tail.Carly with a beautiful flower growing from her cheekMegan, Tyler and Cassidy watch as the big kids rope swing into the ice cold river. As soon as Carson spotted his good buddie Emmett, Carz ripped off his shirt and began to roll in the sand. COOL! Ryan, Carson and Dylan await the "big" firework show. Dylan dressed in his best jammies. Carson sports his light up mouth guard. They loved the loud music but were much to cool to dance.
The girls dragged mom and dad onto the dance floor. We boogied then Cassidy cozied up with her pals to watch the show. They oohed and awed but mostly giggled. What a long fun day! I must say this is my favorate day of the year.

school picnic

It was a beautiful hot day for Carson and I to join Cassidy and her friends for a picnic lunch at school. We got our lunch, spread out our blanket and Cassidy took of with her friends. We followed her around as she showed off her playground tricks and giggled with her buddies.
